  • Dr Madeleine Richard
    Veterinarian

Madeleine was born in Canada, and has been a citizen of Australia since 1987. She graduated from Sydney University Veterinary Faculty with first-class honours in 1994. She then worked at the Ingleburn Veterinary hospital for 2 years after graduation, then in a mixed practice in Crookwell, NSW, for 11 years. The opportunity came up to work in after-hours in Emergency and Critical Care at the Animal Emergency Centre in Canberra in 2008 and she since joined the Ingleburn Veterinary Emergency Centre team in July 2013.

She has been studying to further her skills in small animal emergency and critical care since 2009 with a view to specialise.

She has two grown daughters and two small grandsons. Her house is now ruled by her two cats, and a very fetching dog named Belle who came to her via Pet Rescue. Madeleine works hard so that her pets can have a good life!

  • Dr Karen Spencer
    Veterinarian
  • Dr Tom Currie
    Veterinarian

Dr Tom Currie graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 2012. He did most of his growing up in Newport on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, and currently lives in Shellharbour Village in the Illawarra. You would mostly only see Tom working after hours in the clinic, as he delves into the emergency side of veterinary services.Outside of work, he loves going to see live music and the Triple J Hottest 100 is his highlight of the year for music. He also enjoys playing weekly social and competition squash for Lakeside Squash based near Dapto. He has 2 cockatiels at home, Daenerys and Drogon (10 points to anyone who can guess where those names came from!), and enjoys spending time with them on his days off. Tom is a new addition to the team at Ingleburn so please feel free to say hi if you see him around!
